It is the fifth time St.Petersburg hosts International Exhibition and Conference for Shipbuilding and Equipment and Technologies for Development of the Arctic and Continental Shelf. Our city occupies one of the leading positions in the issues of Arctic development being the largest center of provision of technical and intellectual resources for this Northern region.
The exhibition area of the city organized by St.Petersburg Committee for Arctic Affairs will demonstrate the industrial and scientific educational potential of St.Petersburg used in the development of the Arctic and continental shelf. Among the exhibitors there are leading St.Petersburg organizations whose developments and products are in demand in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
The exhibition guests will be able to get familiar with the projects in progress and those prepared to be performed in Arctic conditions, with unique products, technologies and services of St.Petersburg enterprises and institutions in such fields as shipbuilding, the development and manufacture of radioelectronic systems and robotic systems, logistics, the training of ship navigators, and other fields important for northern latitudes.
The exhibition visitors will have an opportunity to feel like ship captains and try themselves at a navigation simulator imtating a ship` s stay in ice conditions.
